Hello again venerable teachers,

Aside from the masters, what examples of people do we know have reached a considerable amount of liberation (elemental, nirvani) in a single life? Are their numerous accounts of Buddhists who've claimed to have not seen any spiritual progress in their previous lives but managed to reach enlightenment? I ask because I'm curious of the progress one can make in these urgent times with such a limited window of opportunity.

I suppose some of the fresh Gnostic start ups would be perhaps Shakesphere, Plato, Neitzsche, and Manly Palmer Hall...

What about partial liberation? I'm curious what happens to a nefesh chaiyot that manages to eliminate various heavy ego's like anger, pride, and lust for example but, still has many aggregates remaining. If that soul devolves, will they still reincarnate into an animal that has those crude qualities of lust, anger, and so forth? Perhaps they will skip certain species and enter into more gentler form of life, like the earthworm...
