Hello dear Instructors and fellow students.

I usually record my dreams in my dream diary. After waking up, I take brief notes, and before going to bed at night I do retrospection to remember my dreams. Sometimes the symbolism of my dreams are crystal-clear. I can understand them, even intellectually, as if they interpret themselves. But last night I saw a dream and I can't shake the feeling that there's something more to it. I can't really understand all of it. In my dream, I am in a hotel, which always reminds me of fornication because of my past experiences. While wandering aimlessly within that hotel and its dark, gloomy but luxurious atmosphere, I find a name written on something like a little wooden pipe or a pencil. It resembles a common English name but it is not. I shall call it Z for now. I start to wonder who this Z person is and eventually I figure out I am that Z person. Then it gets interesting because knowing my true name and identity, I gain super powers. I defy gravity and can shoot lightning balls to fight "baddies", also my fighting abilities have improved unrealistically. Those "baddies" were the random dark figures I saw in the hotel and I smited them. I think this dream holds a meaning, even if it may sound a bit silly.

I, somehow, have a feeling about names have importance. As far as I know, by God's grace Adam gains the ability to name beasts and other creation. It is a clue. In Bible God is referred as Yod-Hei-Waw-Hei. And growing up Muslim and with an interest in Sufi tradition, I have heard stories about Al-Ismul Azam, which is Lord's hidden Name only revealed to those who devote themselves to Him. Also as far as I know, Kalimatullah (Word of God) is used to refer to Jesus in Qur'an. What is the secret behind names? I am including both profane and genuine names. Can you suggest me some reading material please? Thank you, with love and good wishes..

The reference below might aid you in dream interpretation, especially coming from the Muslim / Sufi tradition.

The Names of Allah, the Being, relate to qualities of consciousness, supraconscious states of enlightened cognizance. You can start to get a grasp of them by studying the Principles of Meditation course below:
