How can we cut karmic ties to certain people, like ex friends/acquaintances who have become mentally unstable and dangerous? Even if this karmic debt was accumulated in previous incarnations, can one sever the karmic ties forever to a certain person during this incarnation?

If one has accumulated karma that is hard to deal with, and would like to remove/pay off his karmic debt in full, where would one start?

A side question - Did anyone hear of "Exploding Head Syndrome" and if you did I would love to hear your thoughts on what this little discussed syndrome might be? I know how it sounds, but it's the official term for this phenomena.

Many thanks.

People hear voices and sounds when they go to sleep due to the psychic phenomena of the animal ego.

Your other questions are answered well in the text below:

I'm finding myself in a similar situation and would like to negotiate my own karma to create a more balanced climate in my work and private life, to cut all ties with corrupt individuals and businesses so that I can focus on cultivating a more serious spiritual practice.

I would like to know if this (what i consider to be a major appeal) can be negotiated by simply offering to work on oneself in a serious manner (with the three factors) and maintain it throughout our entire life in exchange for a more stable and balanced life conducive towards spirituality.

If we have dealt with a lot of suffering and trauma already through various circumstances, does this mean that some of our karma has been already paid?
