Hello, dear instructors

I’ve started the path again in December 2018 from a long time that I got out of it. This path seems so straight forward yet so hard and confusing sometimes. At times I find myself totally lost. There’s times where I’m not really sure what defect to meditate upon that I’ve caught during the day.

I know what Samael Aun Weor says that the work consists of observing oneself throughout the day and at the end of the day we must reconstruct a certain event where we caught a defect trying to take over. What about the days we’re not too sure what to meditate on though? My questions are

1. can we meditate on defects from any remote past?

2. Does it differ to meditate on defects that we caught through self observation as opposed to defects that we are now aware of but during the time the defects came out we weren’t doing any self observation or Gnostic work whatsoever? For example as a teenager I didn’t even know about gnosis I wasn’t self observing, but I made a lot of mistakes. So now that I know about gnosis can I go back to the defects that came out during the time I was a teenager and is there any difference from doing that as opposed to meditating on defects that I caught during the day through self observation. I hope I make sense lol. Thank you.

1. Yes

2. Your consciousness captures all perceptions and stores them as memories. Accessing them is all that is needed, and that occurs by mastering meditation.

You will always have daily circumstances to meditate upon. Perhaps you do not think you do because you are only looking for very obvious events. Utilize Retrospection Meditation each night, and you will begin to find the "big fish" that stay under the surface.

Another question linked to the same thing:

In meditation when we visualize an event where certain egos came about, when seeing the event can we switch between different times where the same ego came out that produced the same consequences in order to comprehend it more? Or do we just have to continue visualizing only one event as we go deeper and deeper to the dream-like state?

That depends: is it your intellect bringing those other times, or is it intuition?
