I read the Cosmic Ships and couldnt help asking this to myself. With all the technology we have, having the rover landing to Mars and the powerful Hublle telescope, should we be siting that there would be people on Mars?
The other humanities are not interested in revealing themselves until the moment is right. They have methods and technology to obscure our observations, probes, etc. They are much more advanced in technology than us.
