Question: why is the technique of sexual alchemy such a secret?
If sexual alchemy is the true method for realizing the truth behind Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism, and all religions...why isn't it better known, or more widely discussed? It strikes me as strange and somewhat conspiratorial. On the one hand, there seem to be many sincere, well-intentioned and serious people who have heard nothing along the lines of anything close to the technique of sexual alchemy. On the other hand, if the truth is known, but only by a small, select group of inner-circle wise ones, why have they kept it such a secret? The days of burning folks at the stake, trying them for heresy, excommunicating, and etc are long gone. In fact, these days, the equivalent of "Satanism for Dummies" is basically a bookstore or Google search away. Everything else sure seems to be out in the open these days; why keep the one true method a secret?
It just strikes me as strange that the originators of Christianity and Buddhism and all the others would work so hard to spread their word, on the one hand, but either leave out the most essential part of their message or make it so hidden, obscure, and difficult to decipher that practically no one would ever truly understand it, without the "key code."
Or on another level entirely...it also strikes me as strange that a Creator would create a human race in a situation where they are born, suffer, grow old and die in ignorance and all for no apparent reason that they know of...but would also provide a secret technique of escape, deliverance, or salvation from that condition...but would at the same time make that "secret technique" so obscure, hidden, and difficult to discover that the vast majority of them would never have any hope of finding it, much less understanding and practicing it correctly...and so instead, would just suffer, grow old, and die in a state of ignorance and for no apparent reason.
And then, why is Samael Aun Weor the first to be this explicit, open and direct about the method? Is there anything along the lines of a "true history of religions" that discusses how sexual alchemy was taught in the beginning, but over time, was lost or driven underground? And what evidence there is that this actually happened?
I'm not trying to be difficult - these are sincere questions. I do think that if one is giving Gnosticism serious consideration, these questions will naturally come up.
Thank you.
