Instructors good day.
Why are there so many contradicting statements pertaining to the consumption of alcohol?
Somewhere we might see samael aun weor speaking about how one should NOT consume alcohol. Then in another book he might say the one who cant handle a glass of alcohol is weak. I personally prefer to drink red wine, and only a glass, I dont see how it affects me BUT I read how the demon algol I'd very subtle, so maybe I am unaware of it? But seriously I know when to stop.

You can self-realize without drinking any alcohol. Therefore, it is unnecessary.

Also, you can be led to the abyss by drinking one drop of liquor, since it can lead to many things. This is why Samael Aun Weor stated that alcohol and drinking should be banished from our homes.

However:
Regarding social gatherings: those initiates who have strong will, sometimes politely allow themselves to sip or to taste up to three small quantities of liquor or up to three small quantities of beer. They never go beyond three; if they do, they violate the law. -Samael Aun Weor, The Divine Science: "Logos, Mantra, Theurgy"
Most of us do not have strong will. Therefore you need to be cautious.

Great reply, to clarify a little bit, drinking wine is Useless "spiritually" and unnecessary "psychologically", and quick question, why is it that many believers, believe that even a drop of Alcohol is a sin, so here it seems that divinity has Forbidden Liquor but labeled wine as a personal choice, I mean the difference here is the level of Alcohol within this beverages, I mean wine still has some alcohol, but you say the white lodge approves it as a personal choice? Can this answer be elaborated, okay thanks

Samael Aun Weor and Prophet Muhammad spoke extensively against drinking alcohol and what to do regarding it. Whether or not you follow their advice is something else.

Okay, so to clarify, even a drop of Alcohol is one hundred and one percent FORBIDDEN either in wine or Liquor, and no true Gnostic partakes of this beverage! and you were trying to point out that the laws are the laws, but everyone again has FREE WILL, in the end one will suffer the consequences!

-Thanks Almustafa, I was confused a little bit, with how you answered that student, on the other hand, it seemed like you were legalizing alcohol in wine and not Liquor! And you were making it a personal choice to either partake wine or not, so this is not what you meant, you meant any alcohol is Forbidden and has its consequences, but again everyone has the freedom to live or die, if you consume it, thou shall surely die spirituality speaking, so it is best to avoid any of it!

Thanks for the clarification!!
