All animals, including the intellectual ones, can carry astral parasites. Such parasites feed on garbage and dirty things, and since animals tend to roll around in dirty things, they likewise carry those parasites, just as they carry physical parasites.
You can help others by encouraging them to keep themselves and their homes clean physically, and by teaching them how to use the proper incense cleansers, or doing it for them.
