I am writing specifically in reference to the lecture found on your website called “Beginning Here and Now: Fire of Kundalini” found here:

https://gnosticteachings.org/download/beginning-here-and-now-introductory-lectures/403-beginning-here-and-now-the-fire-of-kundalini.html

I would really like to know who that lecture is by so I can see if they have any other resources.

But my main question is how one can reconcile the belief that Kundalini awakening happens for people of different faiths from Christianity, when the teaching of Christianity seems to be that we are all alienated from God and even under His wrath, and that the Holy Spirit is only given to those who have their sins forgiven through faith in the cross of Christ. And by Kundalini awakening I mean the euphoric, ecstatic, momentary event which can be compared to the Christian Baptism of the Holy Spirit and that has the accompanying signs of sobbing, a deep sense of supernatural love, a vision of light, and a permanent change of personality. How can Christianity be reconciled with this universalist understanding of God contacting unbelievers and pouring His Spirit on them?

All of this begs a few other questions:

-Does a person have to believe in a God to have a Kundalini awakening? Or do they just need to be seeking “something more”?

-Does a person have to be striving for righteousness/holiness in order for God to contact them in a Kundalini awakening?

-Does the cross of Christ pardon all who strive to reach God, whether or not they believe in the cross?

I am dying to answer this question!

The lecturers do not give their identities to the public and prefer to remain anonymous, although you can access their works on our website.

There is a public Christian doctrine, and there is an esoteric Christian doctrine.

We study and teach esoteric Christianity, which has nothing to do with beliefs, but with actual experience, known as genuine faith.

Your questions are best answered by studying the resources we have available. In relation to the alchemical teachings of the cross, see the lecture regarding Spiritual Marriage in the following course:

For thirty years I sought God. But when I looked carefully I found that in reality God was the seeker and I the sought. -Bayazid al-Bastami

How can you practice esoteric Christianity without beliefs and only experience? Christianity is a belief system. Experience without beliefs would be better described as ambiguous experience, but I do not see how you could relate that to a specific thing like Christianity. You might as well say you practice esoteric Norse paganism.

Can I please get a different instructor to answer my question. The guy from your site who gave the lecture I cited would have definitely given me a better answer.

I already know about the alchemical ideas surrounding the cross. Go back to my question and you will see that you are not answering my original inquiry.

Thank you.

Just a few points to consider in your initial question:

In esotericism, we understand that Christ is not a single person, but a universal energy which can be incarnated into properly prepared individuals, such as Jesus of Nazareth. While these individuals incarnate the light of Christ to differing degrees and according to the idiosyncrasies of their cultures, it is the same light shining through them. Therefore, followers of Krishna, the Buddha, Moses, etc., are all seeking to be followers of Christ—not of those personalities, but of the divinity which they expressed to us as God in man.

The cross in esotericism has many meanings; primary among these is the sexual union of male and female, husband and wife, through Sexual Alchemy as taught by Samael Aun Weor. This is the Great Arcanum of all religions, and people from any background with a sincere love of divinity and Christ can practice sexual magic with their spouse. Sexual Alchemy occurs by the intelligent power of the Divine Mother, known as Kundalini in some faiths, or the Holy Spirit in Christianity.

Thus, those who work with the light of Christ in a sacred matrimony can be saved through Christ and the cross.

Redemption is a process. One single mystical experience, such as the feeling of love, ecstasy and light that you described, does not constitute total enlightenment or awakening of Kundalini. Such experiences are inspiring, but they are like sparks, while the incarnation of Christ through the Divine Mother is like becoming an eternal sun. To learn more about this path, you can read The Three Mountains by Samael Aun Weor.

"If thou canst not make thine own self what thou desireth, how shalt thou be able to fashion another to thine own liking. We are ready to see others made perfect, and yet we do not amend our own shortcomings."
—Thomas à Kempis
