Then, we profoundly reflect on the content of the object itself (dhyana).
If im reflecting on a situation there's so much going on with so many small minute details, words are said, feelings are felt, thoughts flow, the amount of content is enormous and quite overwhelming to try and reflect upon. What would be a good way to go about reflecting on things? It's relatively easy to meditate on an object such as an image or picture as its quite static... when we talk about meditating on an object in terms of an internal element that has arisen whilst we were interacting with the external world, this seems like a way more complex object of meditation with so many moving parts that are dynamically connected.
So would reasoning be more of a doorway towards comprehension? The Dalai Lama says that we should use our ability to reason in meditation, is this the same thing?
