Why Couldn't God establish a Permanent external religion? One where the corruption of man and the devil never prevailed over?

God is not incapable of what you ask, but rather it would be counter-productive. The same reason that a tempting tree was placed in Eden is the same reason that there is degeneration in religions. Why was it placed there? Why was humanity allowed to eat from it? Etc?

The Tower of Babel is the story of the confusion of tongues, when different sects and groups form out of confusion.

So be aware that each one of us is indeed a tower of Babel. And each one of us in a group makes another tower, so, this society in itself is a big tower. Thus, of course, all the groups of this whole humanity form a big city, a big civilization, with a big tower of Babel. This society in this day and age is indeed a big tower of Babel. There is confusion; there is a great confusion in the world. But if we learn how to be meek and to follow our inner Being, we will not be confused.

Master Samael Aun Weor stated:

"It is written that when the Gods want to punish men, first they confuse them." - Gnostic Magic of the Runes

When the Elohim and the Superior Beings want to punish humanity because they are no longer in contact with their own Being, but only following Nimrod, then they confuse them, in order to punish them. Listen, such confusion enters through Nimrod, the personality. Therefore, only those who follow their Inner Being and do not allow to become confused by Nimrod are not punished. - The Tower of Babel lecture

I don't see why the religion would be clear and obvious though, just because it was established by God? Even during the beginning of religions, they are not clear and obvious, but you don't disagree that during Jesus' Ministry, Christianity was a true path to God, do you? I mean the Jews had a hard time with accepting the Eucharist, but Jesus didn't change for the people. Surely there could be nothing less clear and obvious coming from an individual, but I don't think there was less temptation because of that? He could of not said it and had many more followers. I still don't see why God is so incapable? It makes no sense to me.

Well, the reason that our religions fall apart is that we have karma. Of course it could be possible that Initiates could be permanently placed in power so to guide and direct the world, but this would prevent certain types of karma from being played out. The soul, in order to acquire knowledge of good and evil, must experience evil and must be allowed to stray into the darkness. If there was a clear and obvious religion, then there would be must less temptation. Surely God could have also not placed the serpent in the middle of the Garden of Eden, but it was done because it is part of the divine plan.

Can you explain how exactly, temptation and knowledge of evil would be gone, if there was a permanent external religion established? Logically speaking, there is no reason to believe everyone would accept it, let alone live it out.... So I still don't see why God isn't capable? Surely it wouldn't be because it'd be bad for self-realization....

There is a purpose to this whole universe, which is to become self-realized. Without temptation and without the knowledge of evil, there is no way to achieve this.
