Is our hair somehow related our nervous system? If so, can we learn anything about the condition of our nervous system based on the consistency (thick, thin, soft, brittle, etc.) of our hair?

Not certain. You might want to check out a doctor or some eastern medicine, Ayurveda, other holistic treatments and traditions. Although it has been found that too much stress causes some individuals to lose their hair.

Yes. Just so long as you are not high-strung as this:

Try drinking passion flower tea to reduce nervousness and anxiety. Quite effective!

Thanks Almustafa. I am not really concerned with the appearance or even health of my hair...I have noticed that it is relatively dry and brittle however, and was wondering if this was is any way indicative of the condition of my nervous system, based on other literature I have read.

It is true that I am a bit tense and high strung by nature...I almost feel as if my nervous system is a bit brittle...just like my hair, if that makes any sense.
