Hello, so I have a thought that produces wonder ? I thought I might ask here to see what you guys think. I’m currently reading “The Three Mountains” and in the chapter “The Sacred Cow of 5 Legs” Samael Aun Weor states he had an abstention from sex in order to eliminate half of his “I”s. Now I wonder Why would he do that? Is he trying to say it’s necessary to have a pause from sex for a certain time? I mean currently I’m having an abstention from sex because just a few months ago I wasn’t in these studies and my wife became pregnant. During this time of abstention I’m working solely on the “I” of lust, which is turning out to be a success. Little by little I’m able to control myself more and more. Though I only meditate and work on lust specifically and I’m planning on doing that for the period of time remaining. I think, obviously, it’ll help me a great deal when the time comes to work in the ninth sphere. So maybe sometimes it’s a good idea to refrain from sex when starting these studies. Another thought that comes to mind is that Samael didn’t have a person to teach him about the great arcanum, and that he found out in the internal worlds from his divine mother when she told him to do it after having already eliminated half of his psychological defects. Do you guys know why Samael did this? What are the thoughts of the instructors here about this time of abstinence from sex that the V.M. Describes in his book “The Three Mountains”?
