Whenever I am tempted to indulge in a lustful act and I observe the impulse and not act on it. I have noticed I feel euphoric, so to speak, it feels really good.
Any reasons why that is? Or is this just a personal idiosyncrasy? Any other students feel this way?

Restraint brings conscious joy, since a discovered defect is a dead defeat (once we meditate upon its causes and conditions, praying for elimination). :)
