Hello, wanting to have a spouse and be married is something that is natural. For certain aspects of our development we need to be married. What can be a problem is when the different ego's that we have feed on our natural want to be married.
Our being want's us to get married and progress in our spiritual development through love.
Our ego's want us to get married so that they can grow stronger through lust.
This leads to your second question, will someone appear when your ready?
Yes. Someone will appear when your ready. But, not when you (the I) think's your ready.
There are many people who you may potentially be able to marry, or who may want to marry you, that doesn't mean they're your spouse. For you to find your spouse by yourself is impossible. You need the help of your being. There are gnostics who do meditations, and pranayamas and then think that going to the singles bar is how there going to find there wife. Or the new girl student in the Gnostic group is there wife because she's single and looking for a spouse too so that must mean we were meant to be together.
Your spouse who you will practice with is 1 person out of billions of people. If your looking to find 1 person out of billions you need the help of your being. You will find many people to fornicate with though, through the help of your ego.
Imagine an Opera, the conductor know's in what act the main character will meet his love interest. You just have to wait for that act and the conductor will orchestrate it. If you as the main character choke on your lines, then the whole drama will go kaput. It takes a lot to be the hero in an Opera, lot's of training and long hours of practice. The conductor won't risk the performance putting somone into the Opera when he feels there not ready.
