My question involves a relationship that just ended that I was a part of. This was before I got involved with the gnostic teachings and the ending of it lead me to the gnostic teachings. I feel that we are twin souls though one of the biggest issues between us was the fact that she had a child from a previous relationship. I felt like I couldn't trust her because she was still allied to her previous relationship, had a flame for him still and I always felt like I was second to her child. She even said to me the one day that she didn't need to have a child with me as she already had a child with her previous husband. She ended up falling pregnant with our child and I realised I was being manipulated to raise her existing child as her previous husband wasn't supporting her properly and she was in financial difficulty - then when I didn't want to give her a large sum of money each month she wanted to abort the child.
So if sexuality is about soul union, how do you deal with somebody who is still sexuality connected to her previous spouse and has a child with him. They still have energy cords connecting them and they're still essentially functioning like a married couple. I also feel like it isn't possible to experience true faithfulness in the relationship because of it.

I don't see how it can be resolved - I've spent 2 1/2 years clearing karma in this situation and I'm doing my best in every regard karmically. I just don't see how two souls can become one if one of the two soul aspects is essentially still in a union with a karmic situation through having a child in that situation. I have literally contemplated this every day for 2 1/2 years. I know in my heart of hearts that she is my other soul part, yet our soul union seems impossible because she has had a child with another man and therefor her connection to him will always come between us. I can't expect her to give up her connection to her child and therefor to him, but at the same time I don't feel like I can take that on for myself and I feel a sense of disloyalty because of it. I was looking for a more specific solution to do with knowledge of how the soul operates and if there was any specific solution in regard to the way two souls merge into one in situations like this.

Each psychic aggregate within ourselves is the living personification of a psychological defect.
It is unquestionable that when a psychological defect is disintegrated, it is replaced with a virtue, power, force or law, which crystallizes within our human personality. This is how we crystallize the Soul little by little. Obviously, even the physical body must be converted into Soul.
