Hello.

We all know it is necessary to leave the physical body during sleep for it to recover. But the mind and the emotions are still used even when outside the physical body.
Is sleep absolutely necessary to restore emotional and mental energy just like with physical energy? Or do the mental body and astral body have an auto restore function that recovers the respective type of energy when we are simply not using them?

Physical sleep restores the physical heart and brain so that they can fully reflect the thoughts and feelings that pass into them from the psyche (soul).

The astral and mental bodies do not need sleep in the physical manner, since they are restored by a different type of energy.

Furthermore, you are always using the astral and mental forms: when your physical body is asleep, you use them to dream. When your physical body is awake, you use them to think and feel emotion.
