Master Samael states there is a dam which prevents evil from spreading unchecked throughout the universe.

Does this dam function only on a universal level and not on an individual one?

A being such as Andrameleck was completely abandoned by his Innermost because there was nothing left in him that his Innermost could unite with.

If a being can reach a level of evil that it can actually become disconnected from its Inner God, it would seem to me that the dam to evil only functions on a universal basis, and not on an individual one.

Is this conception correct?
As above, so below.

If evil is checked in the cosmos, it is checked in the individual, meaning: those terribly perverse demons who are a tremendous threat to humanity, who are definitively lost, are locked in the abyss to prevent harm.

If most of the souls of this humanity will eventually wind up devolving in the abyss, what is the difference in the punishment between a soul that failed to self-realize and dissolve the ego and a soul that went out of its way to do evil?

Length of time spent in the abyss?

Punishment is based on the law of karma, action and consequence. The more severe the crime, the greater the punishment. Or, the more perverse the ego is, the greater the jail time.
