Hello all. I was reading an online version of the Sepher Yetzirah, and came across this quote:
And browsing this website, I read:
I wondered why Moses never reached the 50th gate (entering the Ain Soph). I wondered why Max Heindel didn't receive any Major Initiations. I know the answers to those questions would be person-specific, and are unable to answer. But, is there anything keeping someone from receiving the highest initiation? Is it time based, meaning someone has only a certain amount of time to initiate themselves? Or is it based solely on the ability of the person? Can anyone enter the Ain Soph if gone through the necessary steps, or is there another limit? And another related question, if someone receives a certain amount of initiations in this life, and dies physically, but did not receive all the initiations, and assuming they aren't given more time to physically incarnate, what happens to them? Are they stuck with the initiation they have received, or can they initiate themselves without a physical body? Thanks in advance for clarifying this.
The Kabalists said that one must enter and pass up through the
Gates to attain to the Thirty-two Paths of Wisdom; and that even Moses only
passed through the forty-ninth Gate, and never entered the fiftieth.
And browsing this website, I read:
However, Max Heindel did not reach the “high initiation” therefore, he could not clarify this event very well, yet, I Samael Aun Weor, Master of Major Mysteries, can clarify this mystery as follows...
