destruction of the earth

Volcanoes are becoming active everyday and cracks are beginning to open within the mantel, it looks like we are very close to the end but ww3 has not yet officially occurred which begs the question will the planet pass and destroy the earth before the war? It seems there is not much time left and as Samael said the natural disasters will increase at an exponential rate. So my question is
1. how close are we to the end?
2. i strayed from the path and created alot of negative karma, can one be forgiven at such a late time?
