What could be the karmic causes of someone feeling like they were born the wrong gender? (ie a man feeling more like a woman internally, or a woman feeling more like a man internally)

So confusion regarding gender identity would be due to the karma of past sexual perversions and transgressions?

We become what we think. If our mind is degenerated and we continue to fortify degeneration, it has results within our mindstream and determines the trajectory of our life.
People who fortify lust and engage in illicit behaviors, i.e. sexual intercouse with the same gender, produce effects that extend beyond the limitations of one's physical existence, since the sexual energy must create based on our actions.
