Does it really work?

Some people has vision boards that they want to have more money, have a certain luxury car, or if they think about pancakes - a friend will call them to go out to eat, etc.

I think it can help me. I'm really confused in where I need to be in life. I've been on and off with community college taking random classes so I don't have a set major. I'll be taking welding next month to see if I like it. My gut is telling me that it's not something I will do forever but who knows until I try it.

I always like computers so I'm thinking about joining the Navy with a good computer job that rarely works in boats, they work with NSA so it'll feel like you're a regular worker as a civilian but still in the military.

The reason why I want to join it, is because computer jobs seem to have great job security in the future and make good money.

I just feel limited as I still live with parents, + without a set major in college. Ideally, I want to be find a career I will love, be financial independent, buy a house and give back by donating and helping people who are in need.

Can I use the law of attraction in my favor? Or is this a sin?

Nobody can deny the fact that there are different social levels. There are churchgoing people, people in brothels, farmers, businessmen, etc.

In a like manner, there are different Levels of Being. Whatever we are internally, munificent or mean, generous or miserly, violent or peaceful, chaste or lustful, attracts the various circumstances of life.

The lustful person will always attract scenes, dramas and even lascivious tragedies in which he will become involved.

A drunkard will always attract drunkards and will always be seen in bars or taverns; this is obvious… -Samael Aun Weor, Treatise of Revolutionary Psychology, "The Level of Being"
Your level of being attracts your life. Work to eliminate the ego, and you will attract better circumstances, environments, and career paths.

Also, meditate on your Innermost God, asking for help and clarity in what you must do. Then, carefully watch you dreams, since the answer will arrive in symbols...
