Hello, i have developed a frontal headache which i attribute to my self observation self awareness practice. I went to bed exhausted and awoke with a headache that still persists so my question is: During the preliminary exercises such as meditation, self observation, pranayama etc; what aches, pains, and general discomforts should be expected or seen as a normal part of the process?

Thank you.

Aches and pains should not be expected. Your practices should decrease stress, tension, and strain, not increase them. What exactly are you doing?

Thank you! Sorry I saw this response a little afterwards and can indeed confirm it does relax and decrease tension. That day that the headache happened I was considering the pineal gland and must have strained my eyes to produce that sensation.
Thanks for the reply
