I'm seeing improvements in my anxiety through practicing pranayama, preliminary meditation exercises, increasing relaxation, reading scriptures, and logging in my spiritual diary, but I've noticed over the past few months how I especially struggle in the early hours of the morning.

Often, I'll wake up with my mind in a whirlwind of anxieties -- realizing mistakes I made, worrying about things I have to do, bad things that I may have caused, etc. This happens to me during the "vigil" state regularly anyway, but feels particularly hard to cope with when just leaving the dream world. I'm much less aware of what's happening, and my mind remains in a wandering state, forgetful at least until I become more aware of the physical world. Getting swept up in the early morning worrying, I also lose a lot of dream recall.

Instructors, do you have a recommendation, particularly for those times when Self-remembering is extremely difficult? (Just keep at it at all times day and night, and it will get easier to remember in those whirlwindy moments?)

Thank you. :)

Pray to your Being (with the Our Father) and perform the eucharist to strengthen your heart!

But more importantly, meditate on those egos of anxiety. Without comprehension, there will be no elimination.
