Yes I agree, everything is in moderation, so are the teachings of Jesus

(in fact i find the teaching so similar, that I've stopped equating a difference between the two teachings)
I was not looking at the healing properties of fasting (although, the medicinal effects can be beyond anything we know in modern medicine), but rather the internal journey of being still and truly listen to the sound of silence. <3 <3 <3
As my personal philosophy, I believe that we can only learn so much from Man or Mankind....(no offence) and that for one to truly experience the truth, fasting is a very much misunderstood
method of meditation, and is not just for healing. Although funny as it is, you heal quite well when fasting correctly.
To quote a famous saying:
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
is a direct set of instructions on doing just that, fasting and transforming yourself, Jesus said it can be done in three days...but we must remember, that there is always a lot of work to be done, the ego will not go quietly.......hence my question on the best method.
Yes we must forever work towards seeing our world without duality...very hard to do as a student of life...we cling so hard to our physical ways....
May peace and love find you always
