Thank you my brothers for being a constant, May peace and love find you always.

Simple question: What methods of fasting do you recommend

=)
There are many effective fasting methods available online, but the best fast is to deny the ego, take up the cross of alchemical transmutation, and sacrifice for humanity daily.

We recommend you deny your ego what it wants in your three brains by performing conscious action and remembrance of divinity. Transformation of impressions is the best fast, because it results in the death of the ego!

I thank you for your response Almustafa, May peace and Love find you always,

It was not what I was asking, so I'm sorry for the confusion. Yes of course, we are working on destroying our ego, but my question wasn't about the ego, as there are many different ways to do so, rather to which method would be recommended for fasting, as there are many ways....such as, "eating only when the sun goes down", "drinking only clear liquids", and the one I have decided to work with is "the water fasting".

Issue with the answer is that most if not all health sites refute fasting in any way at all, unless you are guided by your personal physician(I live in Canada, so our health care is one of the best in the world), or directed to do so by a health official.
Problem with any type of fasting, is you risk not eating properly to sustain you own body.

The method I found, was the water fasting method. Of which we can do, but must be careful and follow the procedures according to the written word, yes it written on how to do so. I will continue to ever kill my ego, as I have known my whole life.

thanks again,
May peace and love find you always

Personally, I feel that fasting should be used as it was in ancient times, only in extraordinary cases, such as for medicinal treatment or when performing an unusual rite. People of the modern era have made it a "health fad," and as such act out of balance with nature. Remember, the Buddha mortified himself for many years (ie. fasting, not eating) before discovering that the middle path is superior: neither indulging nor fasting, but doing all things in moderation.

@Alexis
Yes I agree, everything is in moderation, so are the teachings of Jesus (in fact i find the teaching so similar, that I've stopped equating a difference between the two teachings)

I was not looking at the healing properties of fasting (although, the medicinal effects can be beyond anything we know in modern medicine), but rather the internal journey of being still and truly listen to the sound of silence. <3 <3 <3
As my personal philosophy, I believe that we can only learn so much from Man or Mankind....(no offence) and that for one to truly experience the truth, fasting is a very much misunderstood method of meditation, and is not just for healing. Although funny as it is, you heal quite well when fasting correctly.
To quote a famous saying:
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
is a direct set of instructions on doing just that, fasting and transforming yourself, Jesus said it can be done in three days...but we must remember, that there is always a lot of work to be done, the ego will not go quietly.......hence my question on the best method.

Yes we must forever work towards seeing our world without duality...very hard to do as a student of life...we cling so hard to our physical ways....

May peace and love find you always
