I'm just wondering... How is autism typically seen in Gnosticism? My intuition tells me that there is a connection between autism and awakening. I believe this could be the fact that autism are absorbed in "our own world". Perhaps this is a world from a previous life or a future life? Or perhaps we are in another realm at the same time as being in our own.

"Gnosticism" has no "point of view" about autism. Facts are facts. Autism is a degenerative condition in which the consciousness is increasingly conditioned / limited, and its connection to the nervous system is in decay. This is a consequence of poor behaviors in the past.
