"Add the Major Arcanum to the sum of the two digits of each of the Minor. If the result is greater than 22, again add up the digits; the resulting total is the card of prediction, the result. This is clarified with the prediction of the two Minor Arcana."

Samael wrote the above quote in the book "The Initiatic Path in the Arcana of Tarot and Kabbalah", he outlines a formula for us to follow if we wish to consult the Tarot.

The part that ive highlighted in bold, do we simply just multiply the two Minor Arcana to obtain the clarification card?

Thanks.
It works like this:

11: The tame lion
26: Prodigy
42: Preeminence

11
26 = 2 + 6 = 8
42 = 4 + 2 = 6

11 + 8 + 6 = 25 = 2 + 5 = 7
Answer: The Arcanum 7: Triumph

Then, when you study the Arcanum seven, use the other cards as additional clarification.
