Dignity is another term for humility, which knows how to protect one's rights without bringing harm to another.
Dignity is inner strength, tolerance, and the ability to act with purity, virtue, and selflessness in the face of corruption, solely for the benefit of others.
Pride is mental and emotional violence, which seeks to disregard or ignore the will and wellbeing of one's neighbor.
Pride wants to humiliate or harm others in order to feel satisfied, exalted, and powerful. Dignity wants to be humble in order to act for, protect, and exalt others.
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain. -Isaiah 40:4
