Hello everyone,

if we see a card from the regular deck (French?) internally, is there a way to apply it to the Major or Minor Arcana from the Egyptian deck?
Thank you very much :)

“The Tarot is a book as ancient as the ages, and is intimately related with the wisdom of the planetary gods. This book is made up of the Tarot deck: 78 cards, 22 cards of which are called the Major Arcana, and 56 of which are known as the Minor Arcana.

"The four aces (of the common deck) represent the elements of Nature.
The ace of spades symbolizes fire.
The ace of hearts symbolizes water.
The ace of diamonds symbolizes air.
The ace of clubs symbolizes earth.

"All 56 cards of the Minor Arcana are based on these four aces and on the ten numbers of our decimal system. For example, a four of clubs is the Arcanum 4, the Emperor, the symbol of the ace of clubs repeated four times. The same happens with the rest of the 56 cards of the Minor Arcana. Intuitively interpret these cards, combining the natural element with the Major Arcana and the problem is resolved. For example, a six of diamonds would be interpreted by combining the Sixth Arcanum with the element air, or “soul,” symbolized by the diamonds; this would say: “a love affair,” and so on, successively.

“There are two kinds of Kabbalists: intellectual Kabbalists and intuitive Kabbalists. The intellectual Kabbalists are black magicians; the intuitive Kabbalists are white magicians.
Often, the Sidereal Gods answer us by showing us a Tarot card; then we intuitively comprehend the answer that has been given to us. The intuitive Kabbalists merely looking at a Tarot card comprehend what destiny reserves for them.

"On one occasion, I consulted a genie about making a trip for which I was not economically prepared. The planetary genie showed me three cards. One of them was a king of diamonds, beautifully embroidered with gold. I understood with my heart and made my trip. Everything went very well.”
The masters of the internal planes teach us according to what we have recorded in our subconscious memory.

When master Samael wrote the Zodiacal Course, he used the same french tarot deck that Eliphas Levi used, since it was the most popular deck amongst occultists at that time.

Later on, Master Samael Aun Weor wrote his Tarot and Kabbalah book based on the original Tarot deck from Metatron-Enoch.

I read the Zodiacal Course in Spanish, and I recall one instance in which the Master describes how to use the playing cards deck as a Tarot deck... Any comments on this?

Thank you, Lion of Judah. I've had this passage on my mind but looked for it in the wrong book (Tarot and Kabbalah). I've found it in Astrotheurgy (Thelema Press), so it's in the Zodiacal Course, as Yaldú mentioned.

Thank you as well, Almustafa. The article contains very strong clues, that are neither of the above books. :)
