The age old rivalry, cats and dogs, which one of these two are more spiritual and give more aid in our life in general? (I know they are not a necessity), for me from a young age I've always loved dogs, they are very sweet and cute, it seems majority of pet lovers prefer the canines to felines, but as I started getting into esotericm etc, my love for cats has grown, I formely did not like them due to the stigma they recieve where I am from, I personally feel cats are definitely more in the spiritual realms? Is this a fallacy? And I think ancient egypt also agrees with me esp. with the symbolism of Goddes Bast.
I have also come to the conclusion, dogs are scared of cats, although contrary to popular belief, I find this weird though dogs are physically more powerful, so this definitely means Cats have some serious occult nature about them.

That rivalry only exists in the mind of people.

Animals are just simple elementals, and there is no basis in reality to compare them as being better or worse than one another.

okay ....though,... aren't there degrees of devolving animals, plants and even minerals? aren't pigs considered a devolving animal....?

after 108 humanoid cycles if not self realized the being enters into a devolving path thru which the being slowly works downward thru the animal, plant & mineral kingdoms arriving finally at entrance to the abyss? therefore couldn't there be creatures, species; that are related more to evolving and others more so to devolution?

Yes, the bodies of those animals are at some stage on the mechanical wheel of nature, yet that does not make one "better" or "worse than another. It is like comparing a young child with an old person: one is evolving to their peak flowering, and the other is devolving towards death: neither is better or worse. What matters is the condition of the consciousness inside those bodies, and that is highly variable and unknown to sleeping creatures like us. Therefore, we must learn to see all creatures as the same: caught in suffering and ignorance, and worthy of our respect and care.

concur on providing respect and viewing all animals caught in pain and suffering.
it is difficult to imagine all the ways even domesticated pets suffer. consider having a parasite where it can't be scratched or removed must be miserable.
to understand your reply ....any creature can be in a devolving or evolving process?
shouldn't students avoid eating meats from pigs because they are considered developing creatures?, thus consumption would be introducing low vibrations into our bodies?

1. we speak in generalities about some animal-types in order to explain the principles of the teachings, but to know definitively which specific animals are evolving or devolving one would have to be very awakened. Ultimately, that sort of detailed information is a very little value to help us change our personal trajectory (which is heading down into the abyss), and there is also the danger of getting fascinated with the subject, and thus distracted from actually working on oneself. It is better to let nature take care of itself, and focus on changing ourselves.

2. generally speaking, pigs are devolving, meaning those bodies house degenerated egos made by people like us. Eating them saturates the consumer with the influences of those egos (lust especially). That is why we avoid eating those animals.
