Much of the Kabbalah is still overwhelmingly difficult to comprehend, I think that this is due to my mainly incomplete understanding of each letter, it was relatively easy to visually remember the letters and their names, their meanings however, this is something else, ive read the general guide that outlines the meanings and symbols related to each letter, yet this is not enough. Do you have any advice on how to approach this?

Going by what ive read about the Zohar, it appears that this interesting and sacred text from long ago was written in Aramaic, searching for a hard copy of this text, ive come across various editions in book format that have been translated by different Rabbis, i'm interested to know if much of the meaning has been lost due to the translation into Hebrew?

Learning Kabbalah takes many years. Just keep studying, but also meditate on what you study. This is how you will learn and not forget.

Every scripture has been modified by those who have transcribed, translated, etc. We use the scriptures as a guide, but always retain awareness that things have been modified. This is why meditation is so important; it awakens the intuition to sense what is accurate and what is modified.
