Hello, in the chakra manipura article, what exactly is the exercise? it's slightly confusing.

Vocalize the mantra U.

In a completely relaxed posture, breathe in deeply. Exhale pronouncing the mantra U in a prolonged manner: "Uuuuuuuuuuuu..."

Visualize a golden sun within your abdomen or solar plexus. You can do this when waking in the morning, visualizing a cross within the physical sun outside that emanates its light and penetrates your abdomen, so as to provide you with Christic energy.

For thirty years I sought God. But when I looked carefully I found that in reality God was the seeker and I the sought. -Bayazid al-Bastami

If I am already practising the I.E.O.U.A.M.S is there any need for this? Or just as some sort of supplement?

Ok, why is this exercise recommended in the meditation essentials course? And this chakra is related with one individuality and self-esteem right?
