Hi instructors,

I have read on this site that all physical illness have a psychological cause. My mother went for a cardiac catheterization today and her main artery was found to have 90% blockage.

Now i assume its because of passive smoking from my father. But i did a check online and i read that plaque build up in the arteries were usually due to food intake.

My mum has a healthy diet. She never ate pork or drank or smoked in her life so it really puzzles me why she is going through this. Then i remembered reading here that all illnessess in the physical body stem from the mental body.

I am hoping to get some input from the instructors.

Thank you

Indeed, all illnesses are psychologically rooted, yet those causes manifest their consequences through matter: that is how we are genetically disposed towards certain conditions, or suffer illnesses in spite of not satisfying the "physical causes" theorized by materialistic science. For example, even having a perfect diet, a person can develop a serious heart condition. The cause is not in their food, but in their mechanical emotional habits.

I hope your mother recovers swiftly!
