Good day, instructors, about 2 weeks ago I was doing well in terms of meditation, prayer, mindfulness etc, so much so that one day, through out i felt emotions running through me, not bliss but i'm sure you understand, but come the saturday of that weak, I get a cold/flu which totally ruined my whole practise, I went back to lusting and it has been hard to get back again, what I would like to understand is why did that illness come at such a time when I did not need it, could this have been an attack?

This experience shows how fragile we are, and how fragile our practice is. Whatever the origin of the illness, what matters more is how you responded to it: meditate on that, and learn so you will not repeat any mistakes.

Gradually, through more self-knowledge and a lot of meditation we develop more resilience.
