Ha, you almost read my mind. Except for I was thinking more along the lines of:
"All my bases are covered, so I must be somewhat guaranteed to at best be in a position to even begin to 'think' about the possibility of advancing."
Because from what I've gleaned from my studies thus far, is that all of the above said ten points are interdependent parts of a complete practice (although maybe we could say that it is like the Ten Sephiroth are related to the above ten points, in that all ten are 'latent' within the Trinity or the Three Factors); meaning that without all ten of them (in some form or another), it could be similar to a Tree of Life without all of Its Sephiroth. For example like trying to Meditate and Transmute everyday, but without having a strong enough body to handle the rigors of daily Meditation and Transmutation.
Speaking of which, about the Runes, I'd said "in some form or another" here because I wasn't suggesting that we have to do all of the practices from each of the mentioned ten subheadings (# 9 in this case); but that we should pick at least one from each numbered subheading (for example pick one of the following from # 9: Yantra Yoga, Runes, Tsa-Lung, or at least a few Asanas from Swami Sivananda's Hatha Yoga).
Anyway, so what you're saying is that we could pick three daily practices (i.e. Birth: Transmutation, Death: Meditation, Sacrifice: Karma Yoga) from only three of the above list of ten practices or groups of practices (a list that doesn't even take into account that there are dozens if not hundreds of Gnostic practices, or variations of the above list of ten practices, found within the writings of Samael Aun Weor), to start out with, as long as they include the Three Factors (of course we should include Guru Yoga as outlined above, Communion/Eucharist/Ganapuja, and protecting our meditation/sleeping space, making for a good six of the above ten 'practices' total) ?
For anyone here who has Received Dzogchen Transmission, whether in the physical dimension or in the astral/mental/causal etc. dimensions, regarding Longchenpa Rabjampa's writings Patrul Rinpoche is quoted as having said: "Besides studying these texts, there is no other practice." Not that this should necessarily be taken literally; but if you read any of Longchenpa's great works, you'll know what Patrul Rinpoche means. Of course if you have Received Dzogchen Transmission in the Internal Worlds it's possible that you could have Received Transmission from Longchenpa Rabjampa himself. It is said that Longchenpa gave Karmamudra (Sexual Magic) instructions in the Lama Yang-thig (or Yang-tig, Yangthig, Yangtig), which unfortunately is not translated into English yet (not to say that we don't already have enough Gnostic Karmamudra instructions to get started).
Thank you.
