This (below) is taken from a relatively small graphic that is printed on the Tree of Life poster.

Since Malkuth is related to the fourth type (which seems to indicate a positively awakened Consciousness) does this mean that somehow, we (this sleeping humanity) are not fully established (psychologically) in the sphere of Malkuth?

Also, at the level of Tiphereth, we see that this sphere relates to the Bodhisattvas & Pratyekas, could this possibly be the junction point whereby the initiate chooses which path to take? The two paths being the direct and spiral.

7) Tiphereth- (Musical Note) SI, Solar Causal, Bodhisattvas & Pratyekas
-Shock-
6) Netzach- (Musical Note) LI, Solar Mental, Arhat & Manu
5) Hod- (Musical Note) SOL, Solar Astral, Free of 108 Lives
4) Malkuth- (Musical Note) FA, Fourth Type, Psychological Equilibrium & Self Remembering
-Shock-
Tower of Babel
3) (Musical Note) MI, Intellectual
2) (Musical Note) RE, Emotional
1) (Musical Note) DO, Instinctive
Currently, our consciousness is trapped in the ego, which resides in the inferior worlds (hell). Physically, our bodies are in Malkuth, but psychologically, we are not here and now in our body.

Yes, when completing the initiation of Tiphereth, the initiate chooses their path.

"Physically, our bodies are in Malkuth, but psychologically, we are not here and now in our body."

Yes, a very strange fact.

Okay, so the soul that has completed the initiation of Tiphereth, if it chooses to take the direct path, the path of the Bodhisattva, what happens to this soul after the decision is made?

Thank you.

So if the Bodhisattva has to pay off all of its Karma in one go, does the Bodhisattva have to descend down into the 3rd dimension to accomplish this?

The Bodhisattva has to go where the karma is.

And runs the risk of falling is it rare for a Bodhisattva to actually accomplish this task? What happens to a Bodhisattva if it fails during the whole ordeal (jacobs ladder comes to mind when contemplating this)?
