Can the alchemical act (maithuna) be performed successfully (death of ego/birth of solar bodies) if only 1 partner follows gnosis or a similar tradition?
In my case it is within a loving relationship and the act itself is not lustful.

What happens energetically if one partner refrains from the orgasm and one doesn't? Are all energies lost or just for the one who spills?

Thank you.

We develop according to our own actions. Naturally, if our partner is cooperating, it helps both.

Energetically, it is the same: if the energetic environment is wholly chaste, the result is stronger. Nevertheless, one can advance regardless of the circumstances. It is simply a matter of will.

The energy is only lost for the one who expels it.

I would like to add to add another question. If our partner asks to be given an orgasm, what is the right thing to do?

This question must be contemplated in meditation. The ego of lust hides under the guise of "altruism."

Confused ... when two partners come together, their energies mix, so, wouldn't one spouses energy expelling thus, by nature of their union, expel the energy of the other partner as well?

No. There are two separate circuits of energy. The male's circuit is completed by the female. The female's circuit is completed by the male. If one of them spills, it does not automatically mean the other one looses their energy. The influence of the orgasm must be dealt with by the partner who is transmuting. This influence can become an obstacle, but it does not mean that the partner who is transmuting looses their energy automatically.

To transform that influence, partner who is transmuting must tap the wellspring of love within their consciousness. Thus, their partner receives the influence of that love. The partner who is not interested in transmutation does not "automatically" become more agreeable to the idea of transmutation, but the influence is there.

All of this is something very intimate and related to karma.

So, yes, you can create the solar bodies without your partner's prayer, and you can eliminate the ego without your partner's prayer.

Also, during Maithuna is there not practice to create the solar bodies through prayer and the reconciliation of masculine and feminine, so, if one partner expels their energy then your solar body therefore is missing that? And if one person isn't Gnostic then can their prayer to create our solar body be effective? Can we create the solar body without their prayer? Can you help me understand as this is in direct opposition with what I have understood thus far ... (ex: ordeal of Irene).
