Hello everyone,

I have two health issues which I want to understand and deal with. I am aware that I will need a lot of meditation and inner work in order to find ultimate solutions. Yet, I hope to find additional information from you, so that I have a broader foundation to start from.

The first issue is my appendix. When I was six, my appendix inflamed, burst and have been removed. A lot of pain was involved, clearly it must have been karmic. According to the lecture "The five Causes of Illness" the appendix is where James the Lesser does his work and it is related to the immune system. My first question is:
1) What would be the right way to accept this kind of Karma? How can I show James the Lesser my respect and will to improve?
Following my intuition, I've dropped alcohol, sugars, fast food and I avoid pork as much as I can, I am practicing the Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation and I perpetually work on filtering out abusive activities regarding my three brains.

The second issue is a mixture of light epilepsy and somnambulism. The symptoms also started in my childhood and they usually involve: subtle muscle twitches, speaking during sleep and sometimes even standing up or walking. During stressful times all symptoms are becoming stronger and during the first one/two hours of sleep I use to wake up screaming, saying things like "Don't kill me, yet!". At the same time, when attempting Astral Projections, I have the feeling of being locked into my body (I need to investigate more here, but I have the feeling, that it is related). So generally, I feel as if I am being dragged into Klipoth at the beginning of my sleep and that only later during the night, my dreams get normal again.
Besides my practice on ethics, Tibetan Rites, meditation and the three factors death, birth and sacrifice, I also have a dream journal. Yet, I am currently not able to remember those nightmares during the first one/two hours of sleep. Otherwise I can remember several dreams which occur later during the night. I've read in the lectures and other threads that epilepsy is caused by being a medium in a past live. My second question is:
2) What could be the Karma related to the somnambulism/nightmares (is it related to being a medium)? How can I deal with this Karma correctly (besides Dream Yoga, maybe something from Esoteric Medicine)?

Thank you for your time and your insight :)

We pay our debts by doing good deeds. You cancel out the painful results of past actions through transcendent action: the fulfillment of a superior law over an inferior one. If you are sick, help those who are sick, so you can be healed. I have dealt with my own illnesses in the past through teaching Gnosis; by giving knowledge I have been able to cancel out serious debts and prevent my physical death. I would not be alive if I wasn't teaching the dharma. Therefore, to heal those whose minds and hearts are ill, I give the teaching, so that I do not need to suffer needlessly and mechanically the results of my mistaken past actions.

I do not know the causes of somnambulism, except that it is an intensification of psychological sleep during the so-called vigil state. In your normal waking hours, you are able to recognize the somnambulist state; there is some level of cognizance here, yet it is not that profound. You need to comprehend why you are asleep as a consciousness during the normal waking hours or vigil state, and to practice meditation on the ego, so that you can go deeper into the psychological causes for your nightmares and somnambulism.

The esoteric medicine book has remedies for many things, so I would that book as a source of treatment. If you want to negotiate your karma, work with the Rune Not in The Magic of the Runes. You can also visit the Temple of the Law, governed by Anubis, in the astral plane, and speak with him about negotiating your situation. Just remember that whatever credit you take from the Lords of Karma must be paid for with good deeds, in the form, manner, and magnitude that you promise. Otherwise you will bring a lot of suffering on yourself.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
