Peace,

Most imagery of religious personalities is portrayed with male members having facial hair, namely a beard.

Is it better for a man to keep a beard and does having one contribute towards a man's physiological and spiritual health?

If so, what is the recommended length of such?

In the past, beards and long hair symbolized, as in the case of Nazarene and Essenian men, the pact of scientific chastity. However, people have lost the meaning of this. Now having or not having a beard is just a personal choice. :)

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
