Hello instructors,
Related to the symbol of Joseph, yesod does not impregnate Mary, the universal substance of the work of Christ, but the Holy Spirit her spouse does, but Joseph aids in her bringing Christ to birth. What is the function of yesod in relation to this alchemical symbol?
Is it that the impregnated matter of Mary, the substance that has the Nun of Christ within it, is grown and sublimated through the work with Yesod, the 9th sphere, which is a symbol of Joseph? So we must be worshipers of Joseph, of the stone, which we must chisel to form the man which is the Christ? It is not yesod that impregnates the cosmic womb, but aids in her forming Adam?
Any help on this symbol will be appreciated.
