In the Ifá traditions, polygamy is quite common and is sometimes even encouraged throughout the priesthood (although it is not a requisite).
Anyway, doesn't polygamy strongly conflict with the fundamentals of the Gnostic teachings? How can a religion that allows polygamy be a true path to wisdom?

These new currents establishes a path of low resistance through which the excessive current flows, which causes damage to the light-Kundalini of the man and woman, the two components of the circuit; i.e. the Kundabuffer is stimulated rather than decreased. This is called adultery, an action that adulterates the man, the woman, and the energy of the Divine Mother. In this case, the energy of the Divine Mother can never awaken positively, as Kundalini, but inverts into a low vibration energy that resolves to destroy the organism in order to liberate itself. Are you saying that the androgynous being is a combination of the husband and wife's spiritual soul?
And just to bring resolution to the original topic...Are you saying that anyone that practices polygamy is mislead and misleading, no matter how wise and knowledgeable they may be?...and in this case: Any priest of Ifá that practices polygamy is a bad representation for a true path of wisdom?
