Is there anyone in this forum or in these teachings working with holy geometry?
I am missing this important field of the mysteries.
Is it not a part of Gnosis from your point of view?

Until we internalize Sacred teachings about Number there will appear to be an overwhelming multitude of teachings. When we are working with Kabbalah we are working with sacred geometry. When Gurdieff uses the Enneagram he is using Sacred Geometry. The Pythagorean tetraktys is Sacred Geometry. We must use our imagination and meditate in our mind's eye on what we read about Sacred Geometry. Sacred Geometry and Sacred Numerology have more to do with the Qualitative aspects of numbers than with the Quantitative. The Perennial Philosophy treats numbers as something existential. Not an invention.

The Qualities of number are what create music. Music demonstrates that there are qualities within numbers. These Qualities of number are transcendent, operating both in the physical world and in higher dimensions. This is not an invention of man. Evidence that numbers are inherent in the Cosmos, essentially, as Qualities, makes the Qualities of numbers the basis of a True Science.

Sacred Numerology is the science of analogy. In this philosophy of number, functional analogies exist between seemingly unrelated things, based on a numerical identity between them. This equates with the musical idea of harmony. Harmony derives soley from the numerical quality inherent in vibration. These vibrations, when viewed on an oscilloscope, reveal geometric figures by analogy.

Conscious of the above, with this in mind, look into any of the subjects that are taught on this site. Numbers are everywhere and we require an objective approach if we want to think analogically about numbers without projecting too much of ourselves into the object. Because, remember, there are completely subjective, egotistical approaches to finding numbers in everything which tend reliably to madness.

Aesclepius, glad you are here. Where have you been all those years?

You are so much right, the multitude of verbal teachings is all too confusing. That is why I do no longer wish to trust in verbal-only teachings. They all lead (me) astray. Words are prone to be misunderstood or misinterpreted and therefore they easily fall prey to the ego. Their meaning changes rapidly within time, while geometry is eternal. Sacred Geometry is made of eternal laws.

I am not talking about madness. Let’s look at nature: how it is structured spiritually, its inherent intelligence. There is much insight to be gained through the pure-minded pursuit and practical work in Sacred Geometry. Those patterns reappear everywhere.

To quote Josh Richardson:

Sacred Geometry is the meeting of science and spirituality, ‘the blueprint, the structure of spacetime that organizes matter.’ It is an ancient science that explores and explains the language or building blocks of all things in our Universe.
All phenomena, from the infinitely small to the infinitely big … the growth of plants, human body proportions, the structure of crystals, the orbit of the planets, light, music and more has a specific geometric structure. Everything in the Universe follows the same geometric pattern that fractals over and over creating endless possibilities of light, color, shape and sound. Every motion, system of growth, cell, plant, animal, planet, star, galaxy and black hole are all ruled by the mathematical laws of sacred geometry. Ancient cultures around the world have used this ‘mystery school’ knowledge to build monuments, churches and sacred sites.

To me, knowledge unfolds through geometric patterns, shapes and numerical forms. It comes all by inspiration. To work them out brings utmost joy, even more, it brings cognizance. I know those are not mine, since there is no way egotistical elements can enter perfection. But I am driven on a daily basis by a call to do them and a yearning to share them so we can all benefit. It would be good to find more of these things in here from a Gnostic point of view.

I know words can never transmit what happens in the higher mind when doing them.

Are you, or have you been working with Sacred Geometry – I mean drawing, building, constructing shapes, experimenting with sound on water or on salt or an oscilloscope? All that which you are talking about? I am much aware that in these teachings the practical aspect that leads to the experience of truth is always emphasized.
