Is the meaning of ethics that the first step becoming a human is to behave like a human and then of course eradicate our inhuman elements?
But then comes the question: What is to behave like a human? It is a process watching all day long not to violate any of the laws that make one a human! And even now that I write all these, do I really not violate any one? I feel so not sure, what to do? I have the desire to do everything perfect, and until I achieve the perfection of ethics, I will not rest. Almost everything that I want is unethical and everything that I avoid doing, also brakes the laws of ethics, what is the middle way?
Must I admit that it is impossible to become right away 100% ethical? But then I might fall into the trap of self-forgiving. Will meditating on the lives of the great masters will help me to see what it is to be a human.
