I was recently filled with anger, at my earthly biological father. I decided to blow off some steam by reverting to an old habit; smoking the shisha/hubbly-bubbly/hooka pipe.
Recently I was at a shisha bar, I stayed there until after 12:00 (00:00), feeling exhausted and drained so i just kept smoking my blues away (I took no other substances so I was sober). A stranger came and sat by my table. Before long our conversation had turned to spirituality and he began to repeat a phrase to the effect of:
"You think you read the bible and it is truth, but it is all satan. It happens slowly, slowly... You think you're gaining, all these people think they're gaining, but it's all satan".
I have never met this person in my life before. I also recently applied to study towards my PhD in Germany with my second option being the Netherlands. And he literally, as if someone was whispering in his ear, said to me:
"People want to go overseas, they want to become Dutch... no, no, ah its Germany, they want to become German but there is no escape, it is all satan".
After he said that the entire environment of the bar changed and people around me began to stair at me, as if with evil intent. I wondered to myself, am I going insane. I went to the bathroom to cool of and calm down. When I was approaching my table again coming back from the bathroom I felt a very dark unsettling chill and he immediately stood up and came to me and said, "It's ok, don't worry. I am here with you, you'll be fine", as if he could read my thoughts and noticed that I was unsettled.
This terrified me and I paid for my bill and fled the bar immediately. Then everything returned to normal. The chill left me and I managed to drive back home at 3am in the morning safe and sound.
Something tells me it was an attack from the black lodge because I have been growing spiritually a lot recently but my recent family mishap sparked ol desires and cravings that I thought were dead. They were very powerful and I felt like leaving the path to live my old life of substance abuse and partying. Something weird happened, the force wa strong.
Can anyone help me interpret this, or am I just exaggerating the experience? In other words, is it possible that this was a direct attack from one of the dark ones, do they even do such things or is this just a figment of my imagination?

The black lodge does attack individuals on the path, but specifically when there is light in them.
