Hello instructors, i am starting to have a conflict with mechanicity in my life. Im sure you can all relate, or have once been in a relatable situation. Can being mechanical with a conscious mindset, instead of a sleepy one, be acceptable? I certainly do not wish to be this way but, being in america at my age is not getting me very far from it anytime soon. So if im consistently self observant in my times of mechanicity, will this help me improve? If physically i am mechanical but mentally i am self observant, can i benefit? Clearly this is no way to live but im trying to start becomming more serious about the work and right now this is where i am at. If i may ask, how did you deal with mechanicity, and how have you escaped if so?
Thank you

The ego is mechanical and makes life mechanical. The consciousness must learn how to obey the Being, whom is the only one who has the power of doing anything,
There must be a beginning in everything; thus, to start by observing our conduct in any given day of our life is a good beginning.

Certainly, the most appropriate beginning is to observe our mechanical reactions when facing all those small details at home, in the bedroom, in the dining room, in the house, on the street, at work, etc., what we say, feel and think.

Then, what is important is to see how or in what manner we can change these mechanical reactions. However, we will never change if we think that we are good persons, that we never behave in an unconscious and mistaken manner. -Samael Aun Weor, Revolutionary Psychology
