Hello everyone.

I repeatedly find myself in the situation of wanting to introduce new people, people I know and people I meet, to the Gnostic Teachings. I feel this is very important and urgent for me.

Yet there is a part of me that doesn't want me to do it.

"They won't understand it...
They won't accept it...
They will think they got it, they will even like the teachings at first, but they won't stick to it...
They're not ready for it...
They are perfect people to introduce to the teachings, but I'm not good enough to convince them or introduce them to it...
What if what I say to them is not complete? ...
They could be potential Gnostic students, but then what if I come around, introduce them to Gnosis in a flawed way, and they reject it?...
They will think you are crazy and never talk to you again..."

This is what is going through the animal mind.
Some of these excuses are clearly egotistical, but some do have a point.

I understand that is not actually my job to bring people into the teachings, and that this is decided by their karma and their Inner Being, however, it is also written that we shall spread the dharma in all four cardinal directions... what if I'm not good enough at it or what if I do it when it should not be done... people will suffer. And I will be accountable for that. I'm not in a position to receive direct guidance yet.

I do feel that this is an urgent thing to do, and I know that I want to continue doing this throughout my life and get progressively better at it. However, right now... I don't know.

As a side note, I actually managed to introduce my closest friend, who has been with me since childhood, to Gnosis, and we're currently attending a local first chamber together, and it is so great to see him learn things and discover himself and become a better person. So yeah, it is possibile for me to do the introduction... however, not everyone is my childhood friend...

I'm sure you friends, being instructors, have dealt with this feeling... what do you recommend?

Thank you very much.

Rather than seeking an answer for the whole of life and every possible situation, be in the present moment, and listen to your intuition. Sometimes, it is necessary to speak. Sometimes, it is necessary to be silent. Only in the moment will you know.
