I was studying this URL on your site:
http://gnosticteachings.org/courses/alphabet-of-kabbalah/01-aleph
Editor's Note: The following is excerpted from the instructions given by Moses to initiates of his tradition, upon which are based Judaism and Christianity. Careful examination of the translation made of the Hebrew text into Latin reveals many interesting details long since forgotten by the established religions. We provide for your consideration a translation made from Hebrew, and then the Latin / English.
I was translating a small section that I was drawn to in Latin:
die autem octavo sumet duos turtures aut duos pullos columbae et veniet in conspectu Domini ad ostium tabernaculi testimonii dabitque eos sacerdoti
qui faciet unum pro peccato et alterum in holocaustum rogabitque pro eo coram Domino ut emundetur a fluxu seminis sui
My translation of the latter Latin sentence differs greatly from the English translations provided there. Putting aside hindsight bias, it is clearly indicating that the one who is guilty of the crime himself has to go and face God directly, the wording is very clear there and there is no room for priest there (I know that I am, or the man, is the priest, and the woman is the priestess of course).
I am assuming that a turtle dove is symbolic of the Holy Spirit.
So my question is:
What does it mean then to offer one of the Holy Spirit, myself, as a sin offering, and then to offer another Holy Spirit directly to God, myself, as a burnt offering?
