Hello all!

A human being is spirit. But what is spirit? Spirit is the self. But what is the self? The self is a relation that relates itself to itself or is the relation's relating itself to itself in the relation; the self is not the relation but is the relation's relating itself to itself. A human being is a synthesis of the infinite and the finite, of the temporal and the eternal, of freedom and necessity, in short, a synthesis. A synthesis is a relation between two. Considered in this way a human being is still not a self.... In the relation between two, the relation is the third as a negative unity, and the two relate to the relation and in the relation to the relation; thus under the qualification of the psychical the relation between the psychical and the physical is a relation. If, however, the relation relates itself to itself, this relation is the positive third, and this is the self

Just wondering if any of you guys have read Kierkegaard or have found him valuable in any way? :)

And also, I was reading through 'The Taoist Classics' translated by Thomas Cleary, and there is a section about joining Yin and Yan and mentions heavily a sexual ritual and I am intrigued if this text is in line with VM Samael Aun Weor's sexual alchemy:

Thomas Cleary – The Taoist Classics
The Manuals of Taoist Sexual Practise – Joining Yin and Yang

Repeat up and down movement, not letting the energy stop, and the woman will attain a great climax.

It goes on in more detail but seems to me very erotic; although I imagine when one engages in such an activity lust as an aggregate has to not be present in any way.

Very much appreciated :)

This sounds to me like he is advocating orgasm, which is not what Samael taught at all.

And no, I haven't read Kierkegaard, so I cannot comment on him in an educated manner. My apologies.

It is difficult, if not impossible, to find any Taoists practicing White Tantrism. White Tantrism of course is the way of the true Tao. Black Tantra and Grey Tantra have existed since Atlantis and are quite prevalent in what is considered Taoism, even in very ancient texts. Some texts have been adulterated while others were written down as Black or Grey teachings. Regardless, we do not teach Black or Grey Tantrism so I removed that part of your post.

Thank-you for both of your replies!

I was reading Thomas Cleary The Taoist Classics and noticed that particular part of the book and from reading it it sounded rather off so I thought I would clear it up with you guys! From what I have gathered from your reply anything related towards the orgasm (as the post spoke of utilising the clitorus as a means of transmutation) is absolutely not in line with white tantra, and from what I understand, pure, white, chaste sex, has no focus upon sexual physical details, but rather has focus upon ones inner being? Thanks Nicodemus and KH! :)

and thank-you for your heads up on that one! :)

God-bless, peace.

It is not quite that simple.

Anything that advocates orgasm is not White Tantrism.

However, the physical body is a part of the sexual act, and it must be aroused and properly prepared for sexual union. What this means for any particular couple is different, it changes as the couple changes.
