initiation
how do we achieve our first initiation? if a single person cannot achieve it, then what should be his goal? I think that I lack a purpose in my life, knowing that Christ taught the path of initiation through his life,it inspires me to follow him. what should be my goal every time I wake up? some time ago, I decided, that I need to find the knowledge, but that is very general. I know I have to learn meditation, but I neglect it, I do not follow my heart, although I know it is right. How did you overcome the laziness to sit and meditate? maybe I should I should do some japa and pranayama for beginning?

Establish yourself in the preliminaries (mantra recitation, scientific chastity, transmutation, pranayama, runes, sacred rites, etc.) while pursuing the higher stages of the path (concentration, meditation) together. By solidifying your work with harnessing energy and transforming it with comprehension, you will gain and develop more stamina for longer, more profound practices throughout your discipline.
Initiation is your own life, lived intensely, with rectitude and love. Remember that while being single, a practitioner can achieve the minor initiations. Therefore do not despair, since bachelors and bachelorettes can achieve great heights of realization through their work with the Divine Mother, and by the grace of divinity be adequately prepared to enter into a matrimony and the sacrament of priesthood!

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.
Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

For thirty years I sought God. But when I looked carefully I found that in reality God was the seeker and I the sought. -Bayazid al-Bastami
We work with birth at our level through transmutation, whether married or single, since both produce the birth of virtues, qualities, principles, essences, soul, and cognizance, yet at different levels.
Comprehension and death of the ego, as well as selfless service to humanity, are factors inseparable from birth. You cannot isolate the three factors from each other.
You cannot enter into the minor initiations without working with birth, even if it is at the level of a minor brother or sister (working in the initiations of minor mysteries). This is because one gives birth to virtues through scientific chastity, whether single or married.
The question, however, is the degree to which one can attain spiritual birth. Obviously one must be married to enter into the Major Mysteries, yet one cannot progress anywhere without working with birth: transmutation, whether single or married.
When the ego dies, the soul is born. Individual practitioners can annihilate up to fifty percent of their defects and give birth to fifty percent of liberated essence. To attain more requires marriage.
